Good evening and welcome to Lina’s birthday party. Thank you for coming and making the party a happening event .This would surely make Lina a very happy person today. To add more spice to it and make Lina more happier ,it would be lovely if her best friend would give a speech for her. I would like to welcome Miss Roz to convey little sweet words for Lina.
Miss Roz:
I would like to start off by wishing Lina a really Happy 42nd Birthday! I hope you are healthy and always go on reviving people’s life including me. How time flies by so fast. We did not even realize that we are in our 40s now. When we first met, I was only 8 years-old and she must have been 10 years-old of age because Lina is older two years than I am. Through the years of childhood, we were never close but as we grew we found each other and became the best of friends .I had the weirdest feeling because I never expected I would be very close to her. We share everything, feelings especially like during hardship, happy times, sad moments and more. There are no secrets between us .We try our best not to keep secrets from each other but if there are any, we have our reasons and we understand each other.
There was one time when my own flesh and blood who I thought was my closest pal told me not to bother her life anymore. That day, I was totally hurt. Lina was there with me too and we both felt the same but Lina is not really good at expressing her feelings. She takes time to express it. So, after we met up with my so called aunt who was only one year older then I am ,Lina and myself felt horrible. Later that day, I was already expressing my sad feelings to Lina but Lina was not looking sad in anyway. She was still thinking positively. I know she did not want to think that our own best friend had said bad stuff to us and I know she was also sad but she stayed strong for me. She wanted to prove to me that we will be fine with my aunt or our best friend who had thrown us away. Unfortunately, it never happened but we still have each other and I never regret that. The reason why I am telling all of you this on her birthday is not to feel sorry but I want to tell you that Lina is a very strong person spiritually and emotionally .I respect her because she has always been the pacifier between me and my friends when we quarrel. She has always been there for me when I need someone to lean on. I cherish her so much and it would be a loss if I would ever throw her away just like that.
During her sweet teenager life, Lina is the type who loves the beach. As far as I know, she would always ask for a trip to the beach when our friends gather up during the long holidays .There were tons of silly moments when we did a trip once or twice at the beaches of Kuantan in Pahang . Lina would be all excited and happy .We also love to take pictures ,laugh and be happy the whole day long. How I missed those memorial days. There was no stress or fights. Now, everyone are busy but lucky for us like Lina and me, we can never be separated. As I told you ,we share everything.
Other hilarious thing you need to know about Lina is that she is very paranoid. Sometimes she likes to stress on what she wants. For example, if she request for a banana and when people cannot hear her ,she would raise her tone of voice and be a little pushy. It is hard to explain but she got her nickname ‘Paranoid girl’ from me .I have so much to say about her but it may take 7 days and 7 nights to finish or even more. I think I’ll just summarise this. The most important thing everyone needs to know is that Lina is the greatest person I have ever met. She is very patient. She is also a trustworthy person. Purely sincere to people and have the kindest heart .
Dearest Kak Lina, thank you for being there for me. Thank you for listening to what I babbled to you all this years. Thank you for being patient with my behaviour. I hope you live a wonderful life forever .I will always be here whenever you need me. Lots of love , hugs and kisses .Happy Birthday dear!
